Liz is a much loved Brisbane based comedian and theatre maker. She has performed in many festivals over the last ten years including The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Melbourne Fringe Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Woodford Folk Festival, The Brisbane Cabaret Festival and this year is excited to be back at the Adelaide Fringe Festival with her new solo show, “Skitch Tease”.

Liz trained at the school of Philippe Gaulier and started out working as one half of the Comedy Duo “The Gooney Girls” who were Triple J Raw Comedy finalists in 2004 and continue to create experimental new comic theatre shows (“Frocking Fantastic” Melbourne Fringe 2004, “Lily Can’t Sleep” Out of the Box Festival 06, “Waiting for Merlot” Brisbane Festival 08 Under the Radar).   Liz is also part of deBASE productions which was established in Brisbane in 1998.  deBASE creates brilliant new comedies and this year will be touring their smash hit “The Clown from Snowy River” with Regional Arts Victoria (www.debaseproductions.com).

Liz also works as an actor, and has performed for The Bell Shakespeare Company, Queensland Theatre Company, Dogs in the Roof and Kite theatre.
